Traveling through low dunes, crested with scrub and dry grass the landscape will become harsher, but more serene. The dry air rises off the desert sands...until you reach La Quinta. Suddenly, lush rolling dunes of sand are a lush green, lined with shade trees. Gorgeous lakes with flowing water abound, and it seems that you have found a desert oasis. As a matter of fact you have, you have come to La Quinta, in Riverside County, which is home to several dozen famous golf a tennis clubs. Living in La Quinta is a unique experience and can be a wonderful vacation home or a great place to get away from the city.
